The global profile of poverty has been predominantly rural, young, and undereducated. More than 40 percent of the global poor live in economies affected by fragility, conflict, and violence, and that number is expected to rise to 67 percent in the next decade. Half of the poor are children. Women represent majority of the poor in most regions and among some age groups. About 70 percent of the global poor aged 15 and over have no schooling or only some basic education. Impact sourcing reaches into those populations with opportunities for enduring, meaningful careers that foster hope. If someone has the will, we will teach them the skills.

Over the past few years, much discussion has taken place about what is the next evolution of corporate citizenship. SIXSTREAM is a hyperlocal, real-time news streaming platform that aims to connect individuals with stories and their local communities, without the bureaucracy or costs of traditional media models.
Today’s growth in technological capabilities, exponential increase in computing power available to both consumers and enterprises, and almost ubiquitous Internet connectivity among other digital advances is changing the way employees and enterprises work.
Organizations are benefiting from the increased digitization of the workplace through increased productivity, cost savings, a more mobile and agile workforce, and generally increased flexibility and adaptability in an ever increasingly complex marketplace. Enterprises are collaborating more globally, and with more diverse and global staff. Employees can now work all over the world, from the jungle to the arctic, as long as they have reliable Internet.
While this has been a boom for employers, it has also changed the power balance in the employer-employee relationship, often more towards the employee. The ability to work from anywhere and stay connected through smart phones, tablets, and other mobile devices has enabled employees to stay connected and collaborate with peers and stay on top of digital trends more readily than the organizations they work for.
This new digital workplace also creates its own challenges, including security, developing a new kind of digital etiquette to expectations for employees, and the tendency for building expectation of always being “on,” causing burnout and often leading to retention problems. Integrating digital technologies into the workplace can not only wreak havoc on the productivity of workers, but it also creates its own distinct culture, impacting the previous work culture and the general work experience. These changes will challenge the workplace by forcing both executives and employees to adapt the way they interact with each other and the technologies that enable their work.
Companies must be proactive in creating new systems and policies, and re-interpreting their corporate culture around digital in the workplace, or they risk losing clients, productivity, and employees.

Social Media Services from Druid System: A PresentationKedar Gadgil
Most businesses don't expect social media to bring in sales or to suddenly transform their brand, but they just need to be available on facebook, twitter, and the like.
To do this, they have to find someone who knows about their business, knows English, knows social media, and can create and update the various pages on social media on a regular basis. They need this person to put up posts about the latest happenings or news in their industry and their business. They need to put up festival messages and announce new launches of their products and services. They need to have a fancy design and an attractive page. They need someone to answer their fans, customers, or other visitors when they ask about something or complain about something. All of this is not central to their business, but they still need to do it without spending too much money.
To hire a person dedicated for this task would be time-consuming and expensive.
This is where Druid Systems comes in. We have created quick and affordable packages that allow a business, a social cause, an institution, an organisation, a celebrity (sportsperson, actor, etc), or a professional (lawyer, doctor, dentist, architect, accountant etc.) to go social with the minimum of fuss and time, as well as on the cheap.
I would invite you to go through the attached presentation and get in touch directly with us for your social media needs.

This report explores the significance of border towns and spaces for strengthening responses to young people on the move. In particular it explores the linkages of young people to local service centres with the aim of further developing service, protection, and support strategies for migrant children in border areas across the region. The report is based on a small-scale fieldwork study in the border towns of Chipata and Katete in Zambia conducted in July 2023. Border towns and spaces provide a rich source of information about issues related to the informal or irregular movement of young people across borders, including smuggling and trafficking. They can help build a picture of the nature and scope of the type of movement young migrants undertake and also the forms of protection available to them. Border towns and spaces also provide a lens through which we can better understand the vulnerabilities of young people on the move and, critically, the strategies they use to navigate challenges and access support.
The findings in this report highlight some of the key factors shaping the experiences and vulnerabilities of young people on the move – particularly their proximity to border spaces and how this affects the risks that they face. The report describes strategies that young people on the move employ to remain below the radar of visibility to state and non-state actors due to fear of arrest, detention, and deportation while also trying to keep themselves safe and access support in border towns. These strategies of (in)visibility provide a way to protect themselves yet at the same time also heighten some of the risks young people face as their vulnerabilities are not always recognised by those who could offer support.
In this report we show that the realities and challenges of life and migration in this region and in Zambia need to be better understood for support to be strengthened and tuned to meet the specific needs of young people on the move. This includes understanding the role of state and non-state stakeholders, the impact of laws and policies and, critically, the experiences of the young people themselves. We provide recommendations for immediate action, recommendations for programming to support young people on the move in the two towns that would reduce risk for young people in this area, and recommendations for longer term policy advocacy.

HOW IT WORKS
Customers post job listings based which are categorized based on the
type of work required. After giving a brief job description, the number
of workers required and the length of the proposed project, users can
accept projects and negotiate a set of given prices.
PAYMENT
Before beginning each assignment a price is settled upon based on the
set of terms listed on the right. Though these are general guidelines
meant to give you a base, users or listers can negotiate higher or lower
prices dependent on demand.

employment, MatchWork currently focuses on the West
Coast, specifically the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
AREAS OF OPERATION

Downtown Salt Lake City and 9th & 9th that ensure that we can get workers to
you as soon as possible. In addition you can always schedule far in advance to
ensure that workers will get to you on time.

If MatchWork becomes a hit success and our team believes we can compete
with the competition, MatchWork may be coming to you today! We recognize
that the refugee and immigration problem is a huge concern for this nation so
our unique business model can get the best of both worlds.
15. 15
SUPPLY & DEMAND
Salt Lake City
• Salt Lake City dominates in the apartment, office building, and industrial
building sectors
• Graph indicates that people need hired labor for both construction and also
other non specialized projects
Labor Demand
• There was a large outflow of workers from the recession (2008) that did not
come back driving up the overall cost of projects because the labor isn’t
there to do the work
Current Opportunities
• Half of Utah contractors rated the local pipeline for well-trained craft
personnel as "poor" while 20 percent put it as "good." Nearly half (47%) said
they were losing workers to other construction firms; 42 percent noted crews
were bolting for jobs in other industries.
16. 16
OUTSOURCING NEEDS
Studies show that more and more Americans are working longer hours and spend
less time at home. Faced with the rise of other on-demand services such as
Uber, TaskRabbit (which does not operate in Utah) and Seamless, there is a
growing demand for the outsource of household tasks.
Single Parent Households
Large numbers of single parent households (need to do a lot of work and taking care of children
etc. not enough time in day)
Social Entrepreneurship
A large young population in twenties (play into “hip” young attitude toward refugees) so one area
of focus is the Sugar House District. Leveraging the social aspect of MatchWork differentiates it
from other cleaning/household services

PRICING MODEL
Marketplace Model with Commission system
5-10% commission based on total fees (Initial Cost/Tax/Service
Charges)
Base Fee + Variable Rate
Base Fee: Premium for anything over 5 hours
Variable Rate would be per person per hour; marginal cost of
adding works decreases
Fee includes cost of materials used
Guided Pricing – Price Band
Workers will be free to engage in their own projects as they wish.
Users will put up the project that they require help in, and laborers
will choose whether or not they to work that project.
Cost Leadership
Laborers will be contractors, and they will not be bound to
MatchWorks by any contract. By utilizing contractors rather than
full time employees we can out price our competitors and act as the
best value option for consumers.
