Sexually transmitted infections (STIs), also known as sexually transmitted diseases or venereal diseases, are illnesses that are commonly transmitted between humans through sexual contact. Some of the most common STIs include chlamydia, genital herpes, gonorrhea, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B, syphilis, and trichomoniasis. Symptoms of STIs can include itching, sores, discharge, pain during urination or sex, and general symptoms like fever and weight loss. It is important to see a doctor if experiencing multiple symptoms, in order to get properly diagnosed and treated. STIs can be prevented by using protection like condoms during sex, knowing one's partner well before being sexually

An STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) is a
case of Sexually transmitted diseases, also
referred to as sexually transmitted infections
and venereal diseases, are illnesses that have a
significant probability of transmission between
humans by means of sexual behavior.

Here is a list of some of the more
commonly known STI’s and most
likely some you haven’t heard. Its
always a good thing to know the
names of these and the symptoms
of them just incase you one day
may catch one of them.

Before I list some of the symptoms of
having and STI I highly suggest if you
have more than one of these symptoms
that you go see a doctor.
• •Crabs: some symptoms include Itching in the genital area and either
finding lice or eggs in the genital area.
• Herpes: Symptoms can include pain when
urinating, fever, headache, muscle aches, vaginal discharge and Small red
bumps, blisters, or open sores where the virus entered the body, such as on
the penis, vagina, or mouth.
• Chlamydia: Symptoms include Bleeding between periods, burning when
urinating , nausea , fever , back pain, lower abdominal pain and pain
during sex.
• HIV/AIDS: Symptoms can include quick weight loss, headache, rashy or
flaky skin , dry cough mouth genital or anal sores, feeling very tired, fevers
and night sweats diarrhea ,vomiting and upset stomach.

Sometimes it can be as simple as a kiss on the lips. But its mostly known
for spreading while having sex with another gender. A very well known
cause for getting an STI is no use of protection of the genitals (such as
using a condom). You could also get an STI from oral sex. A main priority
and a good idea to prevent getting an STI is to know your partner before
you do anything sexual. It could save your life at most and prevent you
from feeling a lot of pain and stress. Just a simple question such as, “not
to be a bother and its nothing against you but I would love it if you could
be honest with me. Have you in the past or present had or have an STI?”.
If the partner is truthful to you and lets you know that she has an STI take
extreme precautions while doing sexual things or save the sexual things
for when you know its absolutely safe to do so.

As I said before , use a condom , know your
partner before you do anything sexual, and if
you have an STI your self do not lie and
spread it around your only making things so
much worse for yourself and the people
around you. Deal with it before you know you
cant harm people or spread any diseases.
