Lisa has been employed at Thackerville Schools for 5 years serving as an elementary
teacher for one year and our secondary science teacher for the past four years. Mrs.
Kirkwood is a confident teacher and has proven she is able to handle a variety of
situations.
During her time at Thackerville she has developed our science department into a highly
effective instructional program. Her classroom management has always been aimed at
control, while instilling a great sense of responsibility back to the student. Parents like
her for her no nonsense approach to the students, structured classroom, and her ability
to extend knowledge to a wide variety of learners. The students all respect Mrs.
Kirkwood and enjoy their time in her class.
Mrs. Kirkwood is looking to make the big jump from a classroom teacher to a school
