To Whom It May Concern:
Mrs. VanZuiden was an employee at The Dollar Tree in Rochester Michigan from 1993
to 1997. I was her manager at the time. She was employed there part time in the evenings
while attending college at Central Michigan University.
She was a treasured employee during her course of employment for the following
reasons:
Team player
Goal oriented
Energetic
Reliable
Punctual
Responsible
Dedicated to her work
Determined
Confident in her abilities
Trainable
Efficient always keeping an eye open for wasted time, effort, resources, and money
Problem solver
She was responsible for the following tasks:
Stock room inventory and management
Cash Handling
Merchandising
Design of Material Layout
Customer Service
Returns and Exchange of goods
Answering phones
As her manager, I prized her organizational skills. It made it possible for me to focus on
my tasks as store manager. She was able to work independently with very little to no
supervision while being entrusted with a high level of responsibility. She was not a
distraction to my performance nor to her own. After one week I was able to entrust that
she understood the goals and obligations of her position. Her performance was incredible.
She was always helpful with her fellow team members and customers going above and
beyond giving 110% to assist them. She was a rule follower not a rule breaker. She did
her job during the prescribed hours never causing problems among the staff members.
She paid attention to detail asking questions if necessary or admitting any mistakes made.
Above all she was friendly and courteous.
2. After reading this letter, I am sure you would agree that Mrs. VanZuiden would be an
asset to your organization in any position.
Sincerely,
Lisa Szymanski Synder
