Re: Reference for Mr. Jimmy L. Berry, R.R.T
To Whom It May Concern:
Jim was employed here at Mary Lanning Healthcare from September 18, 2014 until
January 9, 2015 as a staff respiratory therapist. His responsibilities were to provide
quality respiratory care including, but not limited to: respiratory medication and oxygen
administration, emergency airway care, application and management of mechanical
ventilation and cardiopulmonary diagnostics following policy and procedure for pts of all
ages.
I am privileged to have met and worked with Jim when he accepted an assignment to our
facility. His friendly demeanor, sense of humor and his willingness to help others made
Jim an asset within our department. Respiratory therapy and teaching others is a passion
for Jim; he takes any opportunity he can to learn new things and teach them to others.
His intelligence and quest for furthering his knowledge base in our profession has made
him a mentor for me. He has a natural talent for communicating; whether it’s a patient or
a professional, Jim uses concise, respectful language when relaying information,
suggesting alternative therapies or conferring with colleagues. His compassion and
empathy for his patients speaks to his dedication to true patient-centered care. With his
background in traveling respiratory therapy, flexibility and adaptability to various
department roles and responsibilities, computer and charting systems abilities and
providing outstanding patient therapies in an environment of safety are just some of his
strengths.
I am grateful for having Jim’s help and am pleased to act as a reference to Jim’s
respiratory knowledge, work ethic, interpersonal skills and professionalism. Please feel
free to contact me should you require more information.
Sincerely,
Doloris M. Warner, R.R.T.
