It’s not the life he lived on earth, his life would have not been a big deal if he didn’t live to die, and die to live again.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

John 10:10b
“ I have come that they may have life
and that they may have it abundantly.”
32. OUR VISION
“All of us in Full Partnership with
Him, Accomplishing the Final
Mission.”
The opening statement of the Bible. What we know about God is mainly through His actions.
Moses did not try to establish the preexistence of God. It is assumed and accepted as an evidence.
He does not rely on any external force to come to existence and to exist.
The characteristics of the Author of Life inform us about the life purposes.
The characteristics of the Author of Life inform us about the life purposes.
Creatures: Different from God, Limited in Time and Space, A product of God’s love.
Image: Physical, Social, Intellectual and Spiritual being.
Stewards: Manage in partnership with God.
Free: Freedom of choice
Base on who God is and who humans are, we can come to the Original Life Purposes.
It is another way of taking of the design that God had for His creatures before the introduction of sin.
Act as Creatures // Worshippers of the God of Heaven
Be Dependent upon God// Rely upon God/ Recognize that He is the source of every good thing.
To be His Image // Representatives of God
Live in Intimacy // Closeness and Relationship// The Sabbath was not given for physical rest but for relationship
Receive Governance // Responsibility
Maintain Interdependance with God // Rely on God, He Chose to rely on us
The effect of sin on original the life purposes
Sin is to renounce to the original life purposes
Sin has shattered the Five Life Purposes
In Ephesians 1:10, Paul uses the word “eis oikonomian” which means literally “the one who acts as a steward.”
The contrast bet. Jesus and humans: Humans wanted to change their status from stewards to owner, whereas Jesus moves from owner to stewards.
Christ is not only the faithful steward.
In Him, all the original life purposes can be restored in us.
We are not expected to work for God but with God.
Christ is the eikon of God.
Another definition of salvation: A modification of lifestyle
Before our encounter with Christ, we live without caring for the life original purposes (futile ways)
After our encounter with Christ, we tailor our lives according to the original life purposes.
A personal definition
Living according to the original life purposes of God for humanity will make this promise to come true.
