Recruiting Service leavers through the
Career Transition Partnership (CTP)
We o er a high quality, no cost recruitment service to organisations seeking to
employ skilled workers of a high calibre. Job nding assistance for the CTP is
primarily delivered through Employment Consultants who come from the Regular
Forces Employment Association (RFEA) and Of cers’ Association (OA). There are
24 Employment Consultants, based at branches nationwide and they have access
to thousands of Service leavers. These include senior executives, managerial,
technical, supervisory sta or skilled operatives, with trades, quali cations and
expertise gained in the Armed Forces.

• Notifying Vacancies - to submit a vacancy online go to our website and enter
  the Employers site then log in to RightJob where new employers can register.
  Once issued with a password, employers can log on, update details and upload
  vacancies at any time.

• Employment Fairs - the CTP organises employment fairs throughout the UK,
  providing a very cost e ective means of promoting your career opportunity to
  Service leavers. Details and dates of all events are on the website.

• Industry Awareness Days - our regional centres host industry awareness
  events which give employers the opportunity to present to Service leavers
  speci cally interested in employment within their sector. These events are a
  good way for Service leavers and employers to network in a more intimate
  environment than employment fairs and for informal interviews to be
  conducted if desired.

• Trial Attachments - lasting from one day to several weeks, Trial Attachments
  enable Service leavers to spend time with a potential employer whilst being
  paid and indemni ed by the military. It o ers you an opportunity to assess
