• They do not o

er consignment as it gets too complicated, the clerk says
• They do however buy albums from local artists if they see the artist or band is
actively promoting their album.
• Though they don’t do consignment per say, they will still support local indie artists
in their own way.
6. Events
• There are currently no upcoming events in the store.
• Their most recent event was for Record Store Day but there is no promo posters or
such left behind.
• They often hold listening parties at the store , but they said it’s been harder setting
up events since COVID. They used to hold a lot more.
8. Swag
• This store doesn’t have any “swag” products but they do have many little things
such as pins, stickers, note pads, and similar items on sale for cheap.
• These products don’t necessarily relate to any speci

c album or artists or even
music in general, but they are cute little pieces that are eye catching while looking
around the store.

• I would de

nitely use this store for an indie artist release. The clerk at the checkout
desk is also the owner of the store. She was very kind and from speaking with her,
would be easy to set up an event for a local artist. I could go in person to speak with
her and start setting up for the event. Since they do hold listening parties, I think
that would be the perfect event for this store. The store is located on a Main Street
right in the heart of Nyack with lots of foot tra
ffi
c. This would be great exposure for
any indie artist with a new release. Also having the artist in the store for the event
would generate even more tra
ffi
c and would be great exposure for both the artist
and the store.
