and enter as many ideas of useful data that would
benefit your school or school division NOT including
student achievement.

Group Activity
Using the list of data, decide on a “topic” that is relative to
school leaders. Find the data or develop a mechanism on
how you would develop the data for your “topic”. Describe
at least five ways the data would be useful to you as a
school leader to assist teachers/staff. Develop your results
in a way that you can share it technologically with the
entire group today. Be sure to select the roles for group
members; i.e. leader, recorder, presenter, etc. All group
members should have an active role. Depending on time,
groups will be called to share results.

(Optional Activity)
Mock Teacher Evaluation Meeting.
Select a data source used in of any the prior activities;
then determine in the pairs who will play the role of
the administrator and who will play the role of a
teacher. Use the data source, and the administrator
will “discuss” with the teacher how they can
incorporate the use of the data to improve their
classroom, making sure to use the teacher evaluation
categories or smart goal topics.
