Jonathan Y. Dee is a former board director of the Philippine Food Manufacturers Association who currently serves as president and CEO of Agtrade International Sales and Agbridge Investments. Outside of his professional work in the food manufacturing and investment industries, Jonathan Y. Dee serves as the co-founder of the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines.
Since its founding in 1991, the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines has worked tirelessly to promote the welfare of people with Down syndrome. Down syndrome is a chromosomal condition that affects approximately 6,000 babies in the United States annually. The condition occurs when a baby is born with an extra copy of chromosome 21, one of the 46 chromosomes healthy babies are born with.
Currently, there are three types of Down syndrome. These include trisomy 21, the most common form, and mosaic Down syndrome, the least common. Trisomy 21 occurs when the body’s cells each have three copies of chromosome 21 instead of two, while mosaic Down syndrome occurs when some cells have an extra chromosome and others have the typical number of chromosomes.
A third type of Down syndrome, translocation Down syndrome, is slightly more common than mosaic Down syndrome. This type occurs when the extra chromosome 21 attaches to another chromosome rather than being separated.

Alliance Select Foods’ Success with Salmon Products in the PhilippinesJonathan Y. Dee
Widely experienced in the international food, investment, and hospitality industries, Jonathan Y. Dee has served as CEO of Agtrade International Sales, Inc., in Manila since 2016. Early in its operations, Alliance Select’s Philippines plants were producing eight tons of salmon products each day.
At the launch of its new domestic salmon products, Alliance Select set a six-month goal of establishing 50 outlets; after only two months, it had secured 44 of those. As part of its new strategic direction, Alliance Select had by 2019 sold off its US and Indonesian assets to concentrate more heavily on operations in the Philippines and New Zealand. Today, salmon remains one of the company’s leading products.

specializing in selling Organic Asian products.
Organic foods are grown without fertilizers, bioengineered genes, GMOs,
hormones, herbicides, fertilizers, and other synthetic chemicals. Organic foods
are grown and cultivated in habitats that enhance their natural behaviors.
Most organic foods do not contain preservatives, so they are often grown on
farms not so far from where they will be consumed or processed. This makes
organic food substantially fresher than inorganic foods.
Organic meat and milk are usually more nutritious than inorganic meat and
dairy. For instance, inorganic dairy products have 50 percent fewer nutrients
than dairy products produced organically.
Most inorganic farm produce is genetically engineered foods. This means that
they were grown under conditions asides from natural breeding. The mutation of
the plant's DNA results in a substantial loss of the plant's nutrients making
inorganic produce less nutritious.
