2. Hello, and welcome to our pitch.
Our idea is for a reality TV show is called Haunted
Our reality show is Big Brother and I'm a celebrity get me out of here combined
Our idea is roughly about 4 people staying in a house which will be rigged with
cameras/night vision watching them all time . The house will require a history of
paranormal experiences, requiring the contestants to stay over night 8pm-8 am.
The house will consist of med evil armour, cobwebs, dirty windows, children's
dolls, chandlers, rugged old carpets giving it more of a creepy and scary effect.
During this time contestants will be asked to complete tasks for food, and more
survival equipment.
We will like to base the house from the Film the
‘Woman in Black’
3. While the constants are staying in the house our goal is to scare them. So we will make noises,
make things fall, create footsteps noises, have actors dressed up in a scary costumes such as white
dresses etc. Doing so we will make them appear at places and disappear to scare the contestants.
In the house there will be secret hatches for actors to access in order to scare the contestants. The
contestants will have the option to get out the house but if they do that they will lose the game
and will not win money.
Our TV show will be hosted by Davina Mccall because shes funny, quirky and she has experiences
with presenting popular shows such as Big Brother, The Million Pound Drop and Got To Dance.
The Show will have 10 episodes per series and there will be special episodes where celebrities will
be involved. The show will be broadcasted every Saturday night. It will be on for an hour and a half
from 8pm till 9:30 pm. Contestants can apply to be in the show by applying online.
4. Through our research we have found out that the target audience for E4 is between 16 –
34 year olds and a lot of the shows that E4 show are mainly centred around comedy.
Shows such as, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls etc. Our reality tv
shows is suitable for this age range and can also be funny due to the fact many people
laugh when watching people being frightened.
We also looked at pasaje del terror which is located in blackpool and the techniques they
use to scare people.
