How to tackle with practical problems in dealing with CSTR For a fresh engineer, just starting job in process design, two preliminary questions on the reactor may be asked: 1- The factory has a no. of CSTRs arranged in series. The reaction rate data is known along with space time for each reactor. The Process Engineer is asked to find concentration at the exit point of the last reactor. 2- The factory is going to design a new reactor system (may comprise of reactors of same kind or different and of same size and different), and according to process requirements you know the conversion. The Process Engineer is asked to design a suitable reactor system for that much conversion which covers the minimum space.
