Ms. Jones' Science 10 classes reenacting the predator/prey cycle of a boreal forest ecosystem. Who knew paper circles and sunflower seeds could be so much fun?
What a great way to spend a lunch hour. Storm 2010 sponsored, organized, and operated by Ms. Morrison's Rec Leadership Class was a heck of a lot of fun to participate in and to watch! Thanks to all those that helped put this thing together!

The Environmental Science 12 class went to the Osoyoos Desert Centre a couple of weeks ago to study invasive plant horiculture and desert biomes. Check out the action below!
After several in-class sessions with Dr. Duncan Grady and Dr. Roslyn Grady working the stations of the medicine wheel and its positive influence on personal choice and healthy decisions, Mr. DeMontigny's Grade 9 socials classes heads for a day outdoors to experience the medicine wheel in a different setting. Girls rugby has become one of the fastest growing sports in Canada--no joking--and the Bombers squad is quickly becoming a powerhouse in the interior of BC. Check out the pictures from the weekend RugbyFest in Penticton.
Author, writer, film-maker and activist, Ivan Coyote wowed 'em at L.V. Rogers on March 23rd. Through personal narratives, this stellar storyteller broached the issue of bullying and the need for tolerance and acceptance in our schools.
