Re-filming
Diary
What went well?
So we managed to make our aim of
getting the right background
atmosphere to re-shoot our lip syncing
parts as before the white background
didn’t fit to the purpose of the music
video.
How did we do it?
I started off by going on to YouTube and
choosing the correct background. Once
I had finally chose the right one we then
set it up on the projector. We had to use
a chair for height so that Elsie was able
to move in front of the screen.
Step 2 –
Before we then started to practise
videoing Elsie we used a help in hand to
keep the camera still she did this by
holding her arm up to keep a steady
hand on the camera otherwise the
quality wouldn’t be upright. This was so
we could test out how the video was
going to look with the new background.
But also to see if the background
lighting on the projector was successful
once videoed.
Step 3 –
We then started to film different
shot of up close and mid shots
of her dancing and singing to
get an idea of what was best
suited to our surrounding of the
light and how much room she
had to dance
What equipment and resources did we use?
- An iPhone 6s we used the most
advanced technology we had this was to
ensure our music video would be a good
quality source and was professional
- A chair was used to bring height to Elsie
so that the background was in line with
her body
- Computer and projector was used so
that we could access YouTube for our
background but also so that we had a
realistic back drop.
