2. Why Re-Engineering Michigan™?
Michigan is home to the largest source of design, engineering, machining, testing, automation
and assembly services in North America. Despite the economic downturn of 2009, our goal is to
help Michigan companies diversify into new markets through a fast track trade show program,
where the costs are shared by the group. While you take care of business, we take care of the
space, forms, exhibit, shipping, public relations, invitations, graphics, everything. We are offering
one, cost effective package price.
You show up. We do the rest.
Who should exhibit? Anyone who wants to improve sales!
This program is offered to Michigan companies who are involved with the latest technologies:
the solution is offered to you as a turnkey package with all the essentials for success included
at an affordable cost. A large, dedicated space has been reserved for Michigan companies in a
prime central location and will be transformed into a networking hub for the exclusive use of
Michigan companies.
Why should you exhibit?
Exhibiting at a trade show offers you one of the best ways to meet your prospective customers face
to face in a relatively short amount of time. Trade shows give you the opportunity to not only show
your product or describe your service, but also create that all important first impression. But the
benefits do not stop there! Recent data from the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR)
indicates that the total cost of closing a sale without trade show participation averages $1,140.00
compared to $705.00 for a show generated lead.

3. The Pavilion Package
The Re-Engineering Michigan™ Pavilion offers the following:
Space:
Space cost is determined by the show as well as the booth size exhibitors desire.
Booths are available as 10’ x 10’, 10’ x 20’ and 20’ x 20’. For other space sizes please
contact Facet for availability.
Structure:
The pavilion will be a hard wall structure, built from a modular display system.
Each booth includes integrated storage, locking counter, bar stool, waste bin,
flooring, delivery and installation.
Shipping:
Facet will organize shipping of all pavilion materials to the show. Exhibitors have the
opportunity to consolidate the shipping of any product or marketing materials with the
pavilion materials. This service will include additional fees but will minimize the overall
cost and time for the exhibitor.
Field Services:
Facet will manage the ordering of electrical services (500 Watt electrical line per
booth), materials handling and drayage for all pavilion materials. Facet’s project
management team will assist you with any additional needs.
Marketing:
Professionally designed and printed pre show announcements will be available to each
exhibitor, 500 announcements are included in the package price. The package also
includes the cost of a company header and one custom designed graphic panel. Each
exhibitor has the option of purchasing additional graphic panels if desired. Facet is also
providing PR and media support. At each show, the Re-Engineering Michigan™ Pavilion
will participate in a press conference and the pavilion will be roped off for a post-show
meet and greet, exhibitors are encouraged to invite customers and potential leads.
There is no set criteria to participate in the Re-Engineering Michigan™ program, only an
understanding that to succeed in a changing economy demands creativity, hard work and
the sharing of resources.
4. The Re-Engineering Michigan™ Pavilion: strength in numbers.
The one way in which trade shows can be made more cost effective is for exhibitors to
participate in pavilions. A trade show pavilion is an area on a show floor in which the exhibitors
participating are connected by either organization or geographical orientation or possibly both.
The Re-Engineering Michigan™ Pavilion is offered to bring together exhibitors from the State
of Michigan to create a dynamic exhibit space which will draw attention from a wider range of
consumers and media organizers.
Higher Quality Package - More Leads
Participants in the Re-Engineering Michigan program™ will benefit from a higher quality
booth package and more marketing and networking opportunities than would generally
be available to a stand-alone exhibitor. Time and expenses are reduced as the program
is all inclusive. This program is practical and resourceful as trade shows have been
proven to be one of the most cost-effective ways of generating new business.
Time Management at it’s best!
Trade shows offer the focused connection of customers, brands, information and
business solutions all in one location. This is the perfect space to show case your
company’s strengths, capabilities and upcoming technologies.
Powerful use of your marketing dollar
The overall cost of a trade show is easily computed and the leads generated are
invaluable. Exhibiting is a sure fire way to get your company noticed, especially
when you participate in a large scale exhibit, such as a state or national pavilion.
Large scale advertising with minimal risk.
Participation in a state or national pavilion is an effective way to get noticed by the
people with whom you want to do business. The overall cost of the pre-show mailers,
advertisements and overhead signage is absorbed by a number of companies opposed
to just one.
Your absence = your competitors gain.
In the current economic climate, the more you appear present to your customers the
higher sales you will generate. Being absent from the trade show scene can make your
company appear weak, giving your competition the upper hand.
