2. Adjectives change based on the
definitiveness & plurality of the noun.
If a noun is indirect and singular, you do
nothing to it, unless it is neuter. In that case
you'll add a "-t" to the end of the adjective.
In every other case (direct, plural, indirect
plural) you're going to attach an "-e" to the end
of every adjective.
3. The other thing to remember is that definite
nouns are preceded by a gender/plurality
matched article (the):
Den, Denne (M, F, C)
Det, Dette (N)
De, Disse, Deres (P).
4. The dirty details
1. Indefinite (a/an)
a. Adjectives do not change before indefinite
masculine and feminine nouns.
b. Add a "-t" to adjectives on indefinite neuter
nouns.
Indefinite Singular:
En stor mann Ei stor kvinne Et stor(t) hjem

2a. Definite (the/that/these) (M, N)
Adjectives are preceded by their appropriate
definite article (den, denne, det, dette, de,
disse, deres).
Add an "-e" to all adjectives on all definite
nouns.
Direct Singular:
Den stor(e) mannen Den stor(e) kvinne(n) Det stor(e) hjemet

2b. Definite (the/that/these) (F)
Notice when a definite feminine noun is
preceded by an adjective, you do NOT add an
"-a" to the end of the noun.
You treat the feminine as common and add an
"-en" to the end, which follows the typical
masculine noun rules.
Den stor(e) kvinne(n)

3. Plural (M, F, N)
Add an "-e" to the end of ALL adjectives on ALL
plural nouns, whether direct or indirect.
Indirect Plural:
Stor(e) manner Stor(e) kvinner Stor(e) hjemer
Direct Plural:
De stor(e) mannene De stor(e) kvinnene De stor(e) hjemene
8. The breakdown
