Artificial intelligence could contribute an additional 1.2% to annual gross domestic product growth over the next decade, according to a recent McKinsey report. The report also predicts that about 70% of companies will adopt at least one form of AI by 2030. As AI goes full steam ahead, it's critical to ask the right questions while still in early stages: who is building and shaping this important technology? Research shows that the AI field doesn’t adequately reflect the broader population, which suggests that globally, we’re missing out on the value that diverse teams bring to AI development, implementation, and research. For example, in the US only 13% of AI CEOs are women, and only 2.6% of tenure-track engineering faculty identify as African American and only 3.6% identify as Hispanic. When diverse voices are left out of AI, the reliability and fairness of AI systems come into question.

Internship Presentation 2 Web Developer
Hemant Sarthak completed an internship at Amity Innovation Incubator (AII) where he worked on web development projects. Some of the key tasks included developing mobile-optimized websites using tools like Git, npm, Atom and VS Code along with languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular. He created websites for AII and Amity University Online's homepage. He also developed a job finding website, an HTML to PDF converter, and a coming soon page. Through this internship, Hemant gained skills in Angular, TypeScript, Angular routing, and Material Design. He found it to be a valuable learning experience about the web development workflow and teamwork.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. - 1. RAPE PREVENTION WITH AI
- 2. • An average of 88 cases daily. • 32,033 rape cases in only 2019. • 71% of rape crimes go unreported. A RAPE EVERY 16 MINUTES IN INDIA Currently, there is no reliable way to contact authorities during the rape incident for a women. We can solve it! Any major case increases Anxiety, Panic & Distrust in the Govt. Also, causing a loss of Vote Banks, Public Property & Productivity.
- 3. WHY AI ? Using AI to Prevent Rape and Save Lives Giving authorities, family members and nearby users a chance to stop it and save a life. Our AI based smart tech will be able to accurately detect whenever a woman is in danger without any sort of input from the user. It will also alert the authorities and family members within milliseconds. Normal prevention measures like SOS buttons, Pepper Spray, etc. aren’t in the reach of women at the time of incident/rape. Causing a increase in rape cases and loss in public trust.
- 4. Sensors like a gyroscope, accelerometer, pulse, heart rate, stress level, etc. will help the AI accurately detect whenever a woman is in danger. How will AI work? We will also use AI to develop a live time map of the whole India highlighting high-risk areas that women should avoid based on past crime data analysis. The AI will thus send alerts within milliseconds to the authorities, family members and nearby users whenever a woman is in need of assistance. Rapes with incapacitated women will also become preventable.
