AI has commendable gained notable popularity and visibility that is very string in the public domain, business community, Educations and various other special fields. Now the most successful business in the world have not hesitated to fully take advantage of AI to better their products, through presented AI to the consumer in a cheaper state. This is the example Amazon Alexa AI, Apples Siri AI and Microsoft’s Cortana (Kaplan & Haenlein 2019). These are aperfect example of the use of AI to make things easier for the consumer, all these considered to be “personal assistants. Expert Systems (ES) on the other hand are a dominant filed in AI, basically the largest field in AI currently, this is because it offers scientific, commercial and military application of AI. This paper is aimed at looking at and explaining the AI concepts and ES applications that have been able to make the life of every individual in different field easier. Like ROSS the Ai attorney, or the Dendral expert system in medicine. The Implementation of AI technology cannot be ignored in our daily lives cannot be ignored because of the impact that such a technology is bringing to our world. Never have machines been able to mimic the human brain and be able to tackles decision making or problem-solving instance as better or just as the human brain. These aspects have caused a major quagmire of mixed feelings. Mainly because the AI and ESs will make our lives easier bhut at the same time it will step in the place of human experts that will mean they will be replaced. The paper clearly discusses on this fact on how the ESs and Ai are not here to replace the Human experts, especially the white-collar jobs but only to make the.
AI, or Artificial Intelligence, encompasses various important concepts and terminology. One such concept is Machine Learning, which enables machines to learn from data and improve their performance without explicit programming. Another key concept is Neural Networks, which are modeled after the structure and function of the human brain. It plays a role in tasks such as object detection, image classification, and facial recognition. Lastly, Reinforcement Learning involves an agent learning to make decisions by interacting with an environment and receiving feedback in the form of rewards or penalties. These concepts and terminologies form the foundation of AI and contribute to its advancements and applications in various domains.

Search and Society: Reimagining Information Access for Radical FuturesBhaskar Mitra
The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

2. The AI Revolution: An Introduction
Welcome to the AI Revolution! As technology continues to advance at an exponential
rate, we find ourselves on the cusp of a new era in human history. Artificial intelligence,
or AI, is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about topics in the world today. But
what exactly is AI, and why is it so important?
Simply put, AI refers to the ability of machines to perform tasks that would normally
require human intelligence. From self-driving cars to virtual assistants like Siri and
Alexa, AI is already changing the way we live and work. But this is just the beginning.
The potential applications of AI are virtually limitless, and as we continue to develop
more advanced technologies, we can expect to see even more groundbreaking
innovations in the years to come.
3. The History of AI
Artificial Intelligence has come a long way since its inception in the mid-20th century. It
all began with the development of the first electronic computers, which were initially
used for code-breaking during World War II. In the years that followed, researchers
began exploring the possibility of creating machines that could think and learn like
humans.
One of the earliest breakthroughs in AI came in the form of expert systems, which were
designed to mimic the decision-making abilities of human experts in specific fields.
These systems were used in various industries, including medicine and finance, and
paved the way for further advancements in AI technology. Another major breakthrough
was the development of neural networks, which allowed machines to recognize patterns
and make decisions based on data. Today, AI is used in a wide range of applications,
from virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa to self-driving cars and advanced robotics.
4. Current Applications of AI
AI is already being used in healthcare to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
For example, AI-powered diagnostic tools can analyze medical images and help doctors
identify potential health issues earlier. In addition, AI algorithms can be used to predict
which patients are at risk for certain conditions, enabling doctors to provide
personalized care and preventative measures.
In finance, AI is being used to detect fraud, optimize portfolios, and improve customer
service. For instance, chatbots powered by AI can assist customers with their banking
needs, while predictive analytics can help financial institutions identify patterns and
trends that may impact their business.
5. The Future of AI
Artificial intelligence is poised to revolutionize the way we live, work, and interact with
technology. With advances in machine learning, natural language processing, and
robotics, the possibilities for AI are virtually limitless. From self-driving cars to
personalized healthcare, AI has the potential to transform every aspect of our lives.
One exciting area of development is the field of human augmentation, where AI is used
to enhance human capabilities. For example, researchers are exploring ways to use AI to
create brain-computer interfaces that could allow people to control machines with their
thoughts. This technology could help individuals with disabilities regain mobility and
independence, or enable soldiers to operate machinery without physically touching it.
6. The Ethics of AI
As AI becomes more prevalent in our lives, it's important to examine the ethical
considerations surrounding its use. One major concern is privacy - how can we ensure
that personal data is protected and not misused by AI systems? Another issue is bias -
how can we prevent AI from perpetuating existing societal inequalities? And finally,
there is the question of accountability - who is responsible if an AI system causes harm
or makes a mistake?
These are complex issues with no easy answers, but it's important that we think critically
about them. We need to ensure that AI is developed and used in a responsible way, with
consideration for the potential impact on individuals and society as a whole. By doing
so, we can harness the power of AI while minimizing its risks.
7. Conclusion
In conclusion, the AI revolution is already underway and has the potential to radically
transform our society in ways we cannot yet imagine. We have explored the history of AI
and its current applications, as well as the exciting possibilities for its future
development. However, with great power comes great responsibility, and it is up to all of
us to ensure that AI is used ethically and responsibly.
We encourage you to stay informed about the latest developments in AI and to think
critically about how you can contribute to its responsible use. Whether you are a
developer, a policymaker, or simply a concerned citizen, there are many ways to get
involved and make a positive impact on the future of AI.
