Responsibilities
 Consistently provide reliable materials analysis, in time and cost effectively.
 Organize & prioritize chemical and physical analysis of various materials.
 Co-ordinate with Technical improvement cell, MIS, for monthly balancing of
material and in research and development work in the company.
 Overall responsibility of Quality Assurance lab including stock, maintaining
of chemicals, Analytical trouble shooting, Co-ordination with plant and
general administration work.
 Interpret test and analysis results, prepare report and ensure all analytical
equipment is in good Operating condition.
 Certifying the Final Product, Standardising, Operation, Maintenance &
validation of Data for all kinds of Laboratory equipments.
 Developing an integrated management system for meeting the standard
requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 quality standards.
 Taking stringent quality measures including preparation / maintenance of
necessary documents to ensure compliance with above standards &
customer requirements.
 Maintain the laboratory in a good housekeeping state and ensure that
safety standards are adhered to.
 To maintain stock of chemicals and glassware use in lab. Indenting of
material and issue from store as per requirement.
 Coordinating in writing & reviewing detailed documents explaining about

2.  Troubleshooting all technical problems; conducting various tests &
inspections to ensure that products developed are in compliance with pre-
set quality specifications,responsible for all Laboratory jobs & reporting to
Lab in-charge. Aware about all shift activities,problem-solving & smoothly
implementing all works.
 Metal Analysis: Sample preparation and analysis of Pot metal & Cast
house metals for checking of metal purity by ARL 4460 instrument.
 Bath Analysis: Sample preparation, palletizing and analysis of Pot bath
samples for the parameters like... CaF2. AlF3 and Bath ratio by XRD/XRF
instruments.
 Chemical Analysis: 10 years of rich experience in any kind of chemical
analysis of Industrial chemicals.Chemical wet analysis of raw materials and
in process materials like C.T.Pitch and C.P.Coke,Butt samples, Rodding bath,
FTP alumina, Process pitch and Process coke etc.
 Cast Iron Analysis: Sample polishing and analyzing for various
parameters like… Carbon, Phosphorus, Manganese, Sulphur and Silicon.
 Baked Anode analysis: knowledge of baked anode samples of Bake oven
for various parameters like receptivity, compressive strength, apparent
density, thermal expansion and porosity.
