Until present Lithuania didn’t have any other similar
business centres of such structure and size as the Quadrum
Business Centre in Vilnius which is being constructed
now.
Construction period: 2013-2017. Size: 70 000 m2
, 21 000
m2
for the parking lot. Total investment: EUR 75 000 000.
In 2015 - 2016 we got assignments related to heating:
 1st
task: to increase parking floor temperature

task: to increase air temperature >+15o
C in all
3 buildings.
Challenges
The biggest challenge in the construction of buildings in
Lithuania is the weather. The annual outside temperature
in December – February is about -15 to -20 o
C. In winter
2015 – 2016 it was planned to start interior works:
builders had to cover the floor with a special epoxy
material, the innovative coating technology firstly used in
the Baltic countries, and a temperature of surface,
concrete base of min +12 o
C was necessary for that kind
of work.
We had to estimate the amount of equipment needed for
heating, the cost of it, to schedule gas and diesel
delivery and ensure continuous (24/7) service and
quickly get the lacking equipment and materials needed
for maintenance. If any part of the service was impaired
when the outdoor temperature was -20 o
C, all the work
would have stopped and it would have taken 4 days to
reach the required temperature again.
Solution
Ramirent delivered full service starting from
equipment: 10 diesel heaters 133 kW, 20 electrical
heaters (9-18 kW) and 24 gas heaters (30-55 kW), 21
fuel tanks 850 litres, totally 912 m of hot air tubes,
extension cables (10-16-32 A). In December our
partners delivered 44 014 litres of diesel and 34 760
litres of gas.
Hot air tubes were laid through lifts and ventilation
shafts.
Heaters were placed in all 17 floors and 3 underground
parking floors. When the outside temperature was -20o
C, the
temperature inside the building sometimes reached +32o
C.
Our irreproachable service “on time” and 24/7 support

The ambitious project will re-draw the map of business attraction points in Vilnius. Quadrum, a respectable
ensemble of administrative buildings of impressive size, the design of which has been based on the newest
architectural trends, is likely to become the new "capital city" of business.

Ramirent team not only reached the
temperature that client asked and let
all workers successfully procced and
accomplish their tasks, we as well
reached humidity level that was not
less important. At the end of October

was 58,14%, in January - 6.35% and
