 मारे उच्च हर्िेदन िमता र्ाले हसत्विक डाटा ने तीन सबएररयल हर्र्महर्न्याि (subaerial unconfermities) परत
को उिागर हकया, िो हनचे दबे हुए हिन्न हिन्न काल क
े बने अपर्ा ी तिंत्रोिं क
े साक्ष्य प्रदहिचत करते ैं |
 सबसे नयी सबएररअल हर्र्महर्न्याि र्ाली परत का हनमाचि MIS 4 क
े काल में िुरू हुई | इस परत से िुडी
र्ाह काएिं MIS 3 क
े नम काल खिंड में सबसे ज्यादा सहिय थीिं और धीरे धीरे इनकी सहियता कम ोते ोते, मध्य-
ोलोहसन (~ 7.5 िार र्र्च पूर्च ) तक पूिच रूप से मृदा परतोिं से दब गयीिं | ये सिी िल-र्ाह काएिं पाक स्ट्रेट से
िुरू हुईिं और मन्नार हक खाड़ी में समुद्र में हर्लीन हुईिं |

  • 15. वनष्कषथ  मारे इस अध्ययन से पता चलता ै हक लगिग 120 िार र्र्च पूर्च, समुद्र क े स्तर में की हगरार्ट क े कारि पाक स्ट्रेट एक बहु-क ें हद्रत, हर्िाल, तािे पानी क े ििंडार क े रूप में हर्कहसत हुआ और लगिग ~8.5 िार र्र्च पूर्च तक य मीठे पानी का ििंडार बना र ा। रामसेतु का एक हर्स्तृत िू-िेत्र, िलािय की पहिमी सीमा हनधाचररत करता था ।  मारे उच्च हर्िेदन िमता र्ाले हसत्विक डाटा ने तीन सबएररयल हर्र्महर्न्याि (subaerial unconfermities) परत को उिागर हकया, िो हनचे दबे हुए हिन्न हिन्न काल क े बने अपर्ा ी तिंत्रोिं क े साक्ष्य प्रदहिचत करते ैं |  सबसे नयी सबएररअल हर्र्महर्न्याि र्ाली परत का हनमाचि MIS 4 क े काल में िुरू हुई | इस परत से िुडी र्ाह काएिं MIS 3 क े नम काल खिंड में सबसे ज्यादा सहिय थीिं और धीरे धीरे इनकी सहियता कम ोते ोते, मध्य- ोलोहसन (~ 7.5 िार र्र्च पूर्च ) तक पूिच रूप से मृदा परतोिं से दब गयीिं | ये सिी िल-र्ाह काएिं पाक स्ट्रेट से िुरू हुईिं और मन्नार हक खाड़ी में समुद्र में हर्लीन हुईिं |
  • 16. वनष्कषथ  लगिग 45 हकलोमीटर लम्बे िेत्र, और उसमे तािे और समुद्री पानी दोनोिं ी पररत्वस्थहकतिंत्र हक आस पास में ी उपलब्धता को ध्यान में रखकर, रामसेतु क े द्वीपोिं पर, प्रर्ासी र्नर्ाहसयोिं की कम से कम क ु छ अस्थायी बत्वस्तयोिं हक पररकल्पना की ी िा सकती ै |  इस िेत्र की तात्कालीन िल-र्ाह काओिं और द्वीप हर्न्यास ने ी, र्नर्ाहसयोिं क े िारत से श्रीलिंका प्रर्ास क े मागच और उनक े सािंस्क ृ हतक आदान प्रदान में अर्रोध प्रकट हकये |  माइिोहलहथक और त्विस्ट्ोहसन क े अिंत तक अ.) नम कालािवि में, रामसेतु क्षेत्र में चपल जल-िाराओं िावहकाएं बहतींथी, और उन्हें पार करने क े वलए िनिावसयों को िािक या बेड़ों की जरुरत पड़ी ही होगी, ब.) सूखे की कालािवि में, भारत और श्रीलंका क े बीच, एक पैदल यात्रा करने लायक भू-भाग अपेवक्षत था |
  • 17. वनष्कषथ  आरत्वम्भक से मध्य ोलोहसन तक, अ.) तीव्र पयाचर्रिीय एर्िं पाररत्वस्थकीय पररर्तचनोिं क े कारि, चपल िल-र्ाह काएिं गहत ीन नदमुख में पररर्हतचत ो गयीिं ब.) रामसेतु िेत्र में नईिं तटीय िू-आक ृ हतयाँ और उनसे िुडी हछछली पाररत्वस्थकी का हर्कास हुआ | पररिामस्वरुप, तात्कालीन र्नर्ाहसयोिं को रामसेतु िेत्र क े इन गहत ीन, हछछले नदमुखोिं को पार करने क े हलए िार्क/बेड़ोिं या सिंिर्तः मानर् हनहमचत बिंधोिं की आर्श्यकता हुई ोगी | मानर् हर्कास क े तात्कालीन साक्ष्योिं क े आधार पर, इस काल खिंड में आर्ागमन क े हलए “बिंध-िैसी” सुहर्धा क े हनमाचि को हसरे से ख़ाररि न ीिं हकया िा सकता |  मध्य- ोलोहसन से एन्थ्रोपोहसन हक कालार्हध में, यद्यहप छोटे समुद्र तल क े हगरार्टोिं क े दौरान कई बार रामसेतु िेत्र का एक पतला िू-िाग, िारत और श्रीलिंका क े बीच एक सीधे सिंपक च मागच क े रूप में उिागर हुआ परन्तु अहधकािंितः सम्पूिच रामसेतु िेत्र िल-िाहर्त र ा और नार् या िलयान क े हबना पार करने लायक न ीिं था |
