Description:
 There are four major entitlement systems currently available in Thomson
Financial namely Eserver, Guardian, Athena and IR Channel.
 Athena System as a whole encompasses Entitlements and Billing system. A range
of entitlements exists for use in Athena.
 Athena provides a complete solution for administering Users and Entitlements.
 Athena defines the entitlements and sends it to Price Server, which does the real
time authentication & authorization.
Responsibility:
• Writing Unix Scripts and Scheduling Jobs to run automated Reports.
• Writing Optimized SQL queries to reduce the time limit and load on the Database.
• Altering the Existing Procedures, Views as per the Business requirement.
• Providing Support by monitoring the huge Data Updating on the Database.

Description:
 The Service Enablement Administration (SEA) is a Client Self Serve application
created for client management of their Thomson One (T1) user base. The SEA
application has several user management options; clients billing out Athena and
clients billing out of SAP.
Responsibility:
• Coding of Stored procedures, functions and code reviews.
• Developing database Triggers.
• Wrote complex sequel queries using sub queries to retrieve data from the
database.
• Writing Unix Scripts and Scheduling Jobs to run automated Reports.
• Managing customer communication.
• Supporting on implementing the change.
• Scheduling and monitoring jobs using shell scripts
• Monitoring transactions – checking the failed transaction and resolving the issues.
• Resolving issues through backend and reporting to Dev team about new bugs.

KMS for an Institution, with Faculty, Student and an Admin are the End-Users.
With functionalities:
• Faculty, Student, Admin having their own profiles for every individual.
• Faculties are allowed to share their explicit knowledge by uploading the
documents or files into the system.
• Faculties are allowed to share their tacit knowledge by adding Q&A type
documents.
• Students are allowed to download the explicit contents and view the tacit content
added by the faculty.
• Discussion Forum is provided to clear any queries of the student.
• Search Engine for the system is provided in order to search the contents of the
system quickly.
• The entire System is monitored by the Admin.
