❏ Racism is something that has been going on for years.
❏ Racism is the oppression of people of color based off of
socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white
people.
❏ History rewrote itself.
❏ Everyone knows how racism began and originated from but
WHY IS RACISM IS A BIG PROBLEM TODAY?

3. THE PROBLEM WITH RACISM
❏ In today’s world racism has still been problem especially in
america it brings so much destruction to the economy because
of people see people that are different from them as not the
same. In past there was a mindset that “ white might was right
right and black people should be treated like second class
citizens”.
❏ Which leads me to m saving that racism has been embedded
deep in people’s minds and especially in the police forces. The
cause of racism is why still in this loop.

4. CAUSE OF RACISM
There are few root causes of why racism is still around which are:-
❏ Failing to recognize racism in oneself
❏ Quick judgements {assumptions}
❏ Casting blame {for example like“illegal immigrants are stealing our
jobs”}
❏ Living in a echo chamber {only interacting with people that share
the same beliefs}
❏ Media representation {the fuel that keeps racial stereotypes alive}
Those are the ones i believes are the most common cause for why
racism still alives.

5. WHY IS THIS SUCH A BIG ISSUE TO BE TALKED
ABOUT?
This issue is much bigger than ourselves. It’s important
for people to acknowledge especially now how important
this issue is people’s lives have been took from them
and left lots of families grieving because of the color of
their skin people are treated differently because of the
color of their skin and there background which the thing
that we fail to realize is that we are all human race was
made to seperate but we all one race the human race.

6. WHAT STEPS CAN WE DO END RACISM?
Systematic racism is the biggest issue in america and if we
can all stand together and fight it all benefits but there are
many steps that we have to do and be take to end racism
which are:-
❏ Be aware of our prejudices
❏ Adults and children should expose themselves to other
cultures
❏ Be a healing presence
❏ Educate themselves
❏ Be a witness
❏ Talk to children and youth about racism

7. THE BEST SOLUTION
I feel like the best possible solution to end racism is honestly come together
as a union and educate ourselves. Racism comes from lack of education
and is based on opinion and beliefs. But if we all come together as one we
can fight RACISM. As a country as one because we are one race the human
race.

8. THE START TO A NEW BEGINNING
We are all know what has to be done to overcome this
issue. Racism is the deep in the american soil and we
all need to do is acknowledge it. As before the best
solution is to educate ourselves. Schools should teach
kids from young age up into their adult years on racism
and being honest about what it truly is even telling
stories and having big group discussion in school
making them required to be in. Talking about race is
tough but it should be talked talked about more.
NEED TO EDUCATE OURSELVES that’s where we
should start.
