A Jaguar is one of the biggest cats in the world. Jaguar means a beast at killing it’s prey.  Classification
Description A Jaguar is a quiet large animal, is long, with a big head and with a short tail. It also has black and orange spots, long legs used for climbing. It uses it’s body to camouflage. The Jaguar also has orange body with and black spots on it.
Habitat The Jaguar lives in South and Central America in swamps and dense rainforest. It rarely  found in the mountains and at a heights from above 4000 meters.
Movement The Jaguar walks on all four legs. It enjoys swimming and stalks on it’s prey then pounces.
Feeding Habits The Jaguar eats meat. It likes to eat large dogs, deer's, foxes and sometimes anacondas.
There is no particular season for mating. The female Jaguars reach their sexual maturity at the age of two and males at three years old. The Jaguar mates threw out the year and can have up to four babies Breeding Habits
Other Facts The Jaguar lives up to 12 to 15 years. Jaguars are endangered due to humans hunting them.
