Jaguars are large wild cats found in parts of the Americas. They have powerful jaws that can break through turtle shells. Adult male jaguars typically weigh 125-250 lbs and females weigh 100-200 lbs. Jaguars are endangered and mostly live in zoos, though some wild populations still exist in parts of the US, Mexico, and Central and South America. Zoos are breeding jaguars to help preserve the species.
