Results show that the most desired super power by
the public was invisibility. Mel and I see this as a
challenge we will rise to and although it will be tricky
to find successful ways to portray this power on
screen if we are able to overcome it using correct
software and clever camera techniques and shots
this is once of the easiest powers to show on screen.
This is because portraying any mind power on screen
will be a hard task and we dimply don’t have the
facilities to enable our character to fly. Creating a
perception of super speed could be quite achievable
as we can speed the action up on editing software
however this was the most unpopular power voted
by the public, resulting in bad market research and a
low viewing rate with our overall product.

It’s interesting to find out that people would vote different
powers dependant on if they were the hero or the villain.
Here we asked what power would be desired for an evil
character. It was shown that super strength and shape
shifting are the favoured powers. With this me and Mel are
going to consider which would be best for our villain but as
he isn’t the main character within the trailer it’s important
to make sure the power of the superhero is established
and recognised first. I feel we also need t consider how
much of a vital role in the trailer this character should hold
and also if we have enough time to go into that much
                                                           detail of that character.
As Mel and I are both female producers we wanted
our leading character to be female also this creates
a strong sense of feminism within the film and could
prove a positive outcome over all, it’s also an
interesting way for us to work as to our surprise the
producer/director roles within film industries are
mainly taken by men. To our surprise the results
show that it would work positively to have a female
lead character, which is benefit to our chosen theme
of feminist. However it is an interesting out come as
superheroes are also prominently males, although
we see this as an up coming challenge and also that
there is maybe a large gap in the market for a film
                                                       such at this.

After looking deeper into types of action
adventure films we looked closely at the different
typed from war/ fantasy /superhero films and my
personal favourite was the idea of creating a
superhero. Mel agreed this would be an ambitious
task for us to undertake but if we took the right
research; used the correct editing software and
looked into the idea closely before making any
final decisions it would be achievable. We also
noticed there is a gap in the market for this genre,
making the theme much stronger. To double check
Mel and I sent out another questionnaire, the
results were positive and seemed to back us up.
