INTRODUCTION This feature allows a teacher to create, preview and edit questions
in a course question bank, a database of question.
 These questions can then be used in Quizzes and through the
export process in a lesion activity.
 The teacher enters the question bank by creating or editing a quiz
activity or through the administration block.
1.A question bank is a planned library of test items designed
to fulfill certain predetermined purposes.
2.Question bank contains questions which are pretested for
their validity and practicability.
3.A relatively large collection of easily accessible test
question.

PURPOSES
•To improve the teaching- learning process.
•Through instructional effort the pupil’s growth will be obtained.
•To improve evaluative process.
•A pool of test items can be used for formative and summative
valuation of the pupils.
•It is a pool of ready-made quality question is made available to
teachers and examiners so that they may select appropriate
questions to assess predetermined.
OBJECTIVES
 The paper setters, examiners find it difficult to prepare the
questions for the tests, they will try to select the items from the
question bank.
 It is the teacher responsibility to prepare a large number of
questions (of various forms) on different topics of the total subject
which she/he is entrusted to teach. Therefore the teacher should
prepare a pool of quality questions, which are reliable and valid.
PRINCIPLES -:
 Bank planning : analysis of the object matter and content
 Collection of test items: teacher and item writers specially
trained for purpose ,past examination paper.
 Try out item analysis
 Using item analysis data
 Banking selected item
 Administering sample test

Levels of question bank
1.Zero level : the question bank is just a library of question and
question are classified according to the areas of the syllabus
2.Level one : certain detail arrived in form of “ guess estimate” by
consensus of experienced teachers and subject – matter expert
3.Level two : the question are classified according to the content of
learning objectives that they test , and each question is pre- tested
and item analysis carried out to give more accurate information such
as the facility index and discrimination index
4.Level three: it is a mere extension of level two . at this level the
question with there technical detail are stored in a computer
facilitating their retrieval and manipulation within very short time.

The True/False question type is a special case of the multiple choice question. The
student is prompted to choose which the correct option is.
BRANCHES AND BRANCH TABLES
 If your lesson delivers quite a lot of information, you can divide it into sections
that are called branches.
 One way of moving between these branches is by adding a Branch Table page.
Branch tables are simply pages which have a set of links to other pages in the
lesson.
 They look similar to question pages. They have a title, content section, student
choices (called descriptions) and jumps that the student selects.

 The cooperative efforts result in the improvement of the item quality
 Most of the examination weaknesses are minimized by suing question bank
Disadvantages
 Question bank is not cure all for measurement problem
 It require a great deal of work in terms of preparation an planning .

INTRODUCTION This feature allows a teacher to create, preview and edit questions in a course question bank, a database of question.  These questions can then be used in Quizzes and through the export process in a lesion activity.  The teacher enters the question bank by creating or editing a quiz activity or through the administration block.
  • 3. 1.A question bank is a planned library of test items designed to fulfill certain predetermined purposes. 2.Question bank contains questions which are pretested for their validity and practicability. 3.A relatively large collection of easily accessible test question. •
  • 4. PURPOSES •To improve the teaching- learning process. •Through instructional effort the pupil’s growth will be obtained. •To improve evaluative process. •A pool of test items can be used for formative and summative valuation of the pupils. •It is a pool of ready-made quality question is made available to teachers and examiners so that they may select appropriate questions to assess predetermined.

OBJECTIVES  The paper setters, examiners find it difficult to prepare the questions for the tests, they will try to select the items from the question bank.  It is the teacher responsibility to prepare a large number of questions (of various forms) on different topics of the total subject which she/he is entrusted to teach. Therefore the teacher should prepare a pool of quality questions, which are reliable and valid.

Levels of question bank 1.Zero level : the question bank is just a library of question and question are classified according to the areas of the syllabus 2.Level one : certain detail arrived in form of “ guess estimate” by consensus of experienced teachers and subject – matter expert 3.Level two : the question are classified according to the content of learning objectives that they test , and each question is pre- tested and item analysis carried out to give more accurate information such as the facility index and discrimination index 4.Level three: it is a mere extension of level two . at this level the question with there technical detail are stored in a computer facilitating their retrieval and manipulation within very short time.

Branch tables are simply pages which have a set of links to other pages in the lesson.  They look similar to question pages. They have a title, content section, student choices (called descriptions) and jumps that the student selects.
