The student learned a great deal in progressing from their preliminary task to the full thriller title sequence product. They gained skills in storyboarding, using the 180 degree rule and shot/reverse shot. Working with a partner allowed for discussion and different opinions. The student learned how to edit in Premiere Elements, analyze thriller conventions, and manage time and meet deadlines. They applied various camera angles and editing techniques to construct the title sequence and felt it was a difficult but worthwhile learning experience.
