ENS202EXT - EZ Hotspot Edition
Hardware installatie
1. Verwijder de achterzijde van het onderste paneel.
2. Verbind één einde van een Ethernet-kabel in de ENS202EXT-EzHotspot.
Vanaf de achterzijde gezien is de Ethernet-poort aan de rechterkant
gemarkeerd met LAN(PoE). Wees er zeker van dat de kabel juist is geïnstalleerd
door de ‘klik’ en plaats het verwijderde paneel terug. Verbind het andere einde
van de Ethernet-kabel in de PoE injector’s PoE poort.
3. Verbind de stroomadapter DC inlet met de 24V DC IN van de PoE injector
en de stroomadapter in het stopcontact.
Noot: Het apparaat mag alleen voorzien worden van stroom via de
Ethernet-kabel die verbonden is met de bijgeleverde PoE injector.
4. Wanneer beide verbindingen veilig zijn, verifieert u het volgende:
a. Een snelle indicatie van de WLAN LED, gevolgd door een snelle indicatie
van de PWR, LANs LED en uiteindelijk alleen de PWR LED.
b. Na één minuut zal de WLAN LED willekeurig en met tussenpozen beginnen
te knipperen.
5. Op iOS of Android apparaten klikt u op ‘instellingen’, ‘Wi-Fi’ en onder ‘Kies
een netwerk’, selecteert u het SSID ‘EnGenius-EzHotspot-Extender’. Selecteer en
vul het serienummer (als de sleutel van het apparaat) in.
6. Wanneer verbonden opent u uw browser en typt u ezhotspot.eu in.
Noot: Wanneer u onderbroken wordt of geen reactie krijgt kan het zijn dat u
het scherm moet vernieuwen. Wees er tevens zeker van dat u niet verbonden
bent met een ander SSID bij het opnieuw verbinden. Dit omdat het mogelijk is
dat u wordt gedissocieerd en verbonden met een ander SSID bij het scannen
van de verschillende kanalen door de extender. Wanneer dit voorkomt klikt u
op ‘Vergeet vorig netwerk’.
7. Een loginscherm zal tevoorschijn komen. Standaard is de gebruikersnaam
van de ENS202EXT-EzHotspot admin en is het wachtwoord tevens admin.
Na het invullen van de juiste gegevens klikt u op ‘Login’ en het menu van de
ENS202EXT-EzHotspot zal opkomen.

ENS202EXT - EZ Hotspot Edition
Om te beginnen klikt u op de scan Hotspots-knop in het linkermenu.
Selecteer het Hotspot’s SSID waarmee u wilt verbinden.
Tip 1: Voorbeeld: Een signaal Level van -50dBm is beter dan 80dBm.
Tip 2: Een Hotspot of Wi-Fi service met -80 dBm of hoger hoeft niet perse
betrouwbaar te zijn.
Stap 2: Nadat u de gewenste hotspot heeft gekozen zullen de SSID en BSSID
waardes automatisch worden ingevuld. Klik op ‘Accept values’.
Klik hierna op de ‘Save Reload’ button in het linkermenu.
Laatste stap: Klik op ‘save, reload & ga online!’
! Het apparaat zal na 1 minuut rebooten in de tijd dat u online zou moeten
zijn. U kunt dit controleren door te klikken op ‘Connect status’ om de status te
checken.
Extra noot:
- LET OP! Wanneer u een firmware upgrade uitvoert gaat de EzHotspot-functie
verloren.
- Het admin-wachtwoord kan niet meer dan 12 tekens bevatten.
- Wanneer u verbinding maakt via een access point met wachtwoord kies dan
de juiste encryptie. Deze is te vinden onder ‘Eigenschappen’ op het
clientapparaat.
