Products?
2. Our radio newscast uses, develops or
challenges forms and conventions of radios
as...
3. We portray our news in order of importance like
most radio stations e.g. We started off with a story
of death, then crime, sports and finally ended it
with the softest news, fashion.
4. We had the headlines introduced at the
beginning like typical radio stations.
5. Unlike other stations, we had two lively presenters
instead of one who spoke loud and clearly and
joked in appropriate situations to make it fun for
the listeners.
6. We included sound effects in the newscasts e.g.
Background music, bicycle bells etc. This kept
the audience interested in the stories as they were
not just listening to our voices.
7. Instead of just stating the news stories on air, we
went out and did voxpop, interviews, outside
broadcasts and we also made interview calls
straight from the studio.
8. We used some informal language while
addressing the audience instead of speaking
formally as our main audience are teenagers.
