PVR is India's largest cinema chain with 121 theaters across 47 cities. It serves over 74 million guests annually on its 553 screens. In the fiscal year 2015-2016, PVR's revenue was INR 18,971 million, a 925% increase over the previous year. The company's vision is to provide the highest quality cinema experiences while engaging customers and redefining cinema in India. PVR has experienced strong growth since 1995 and has expanded to over 400 screens. It generates over half its revenue from box office sales and around a quarter from food and beverage sales. PVR offers various non-movie brands and programs to enrich knowledge. It has won several awards for being India's best cinema chain.
