This document summarizes the 20 year history of the CATcard Services Center at the University of Vermont. It began in 1995 by consolidating multiple campus card programs into a single program and expanding its uses both on and off campus. Over the years it has grown to include access control, expanded dining and retail partners, and new technologies like mobile cards. It now serves over 120 off-campus merchants and has expanded to partner with other colleges. The presentation provides an overview of the CATcard's history, current services and statistics, and plans for future expansion and technologies to continue pushing boundaries.
