The students at Purua School visited the Waipoua and Moirai Galleries for inspiration and created artwork based on what they saw. They painted and drew landscapes featuring kauri trees, waterfalls, forests at night, nesting birds, kiwis and sunflowers. The students studied the shapes and forms of different plants and trees. Their completed artworks were displayed, and the document thanks Diane and Seabourne for their hospitality and for providing encouragement and expertise to the students.
