Benefit Enhancement and Tracking System (BETS) was developed by Kaiser Permanente for creating
group benefit plans. Currently, it is being operated in the regions Hawaii (HI), North West (NW), Colorado
(CO), and Mid-Atlantic States (MAS). BETS is operational in two forms viz., Full BETS and Mini BETS.
Full BETS are operational in the regions of Ohio and Hawaii and Mini BETS are operated in the rest of the
regions.
This module of Kaiser Permanente stores the benefits and group coverage details and provides the
functionality for benefits management, Pricing, Contracts and sales. BETS will create contracts for Small,
Medium, Large, and DPA and National Account groups. For pricing the contracts, BETS will connect with
NPS and NRT systems.
BETS is used to feed benefits to Health Connect (EPIC), Claims (Diamond), XCELYS and other
