 Men wear dhoti, shalwar kameez, kurta and khusa some wear a turban.

 Biryani, qourma, makai ki rotti, sarson ka saag, and other spicy dishes are famous.
 Drinks include lassi, lemonade, doodh soda, sugarcane juice, and tea.
 Punjabis are also fond of Zarda, Gulab-Jamuns, Kheer, Jalaibi, Samosey, Pakorey
etc.

 Waris shah, known as the Shakespeare of Punjabi language. He is best-known for
his work in Heer Ranjha.
 Bulleh shah. Was a well known Sufi poet, a humanist and a philosopher.
 Other famous poets are: Sultan Bahu, Mia Muhammad Baksh, Baba farid, Shah
Hussain, Anwar Masood etc.
Some popular folk tales of Punjab include Sassi-Punnu, Sohni Mahiwal , Mirza Sahiba
etc.
Arts and Crafts
 Lahore is the center of hand made carpets.
 Sialkot is well known for its sports goods.
 Multan is famous for hand woven bed covers.
Other main crafts(an activity involving skill in making things by hand) created in
Punjab are: Basketry, embroidery, hand made stools, blankets, and shoes etc.
