1. A retrospective study examined the effects of testosterone and/or growth hormone (GH) supplementation on body composition and quality of life in 91 men and 97 women over an average of 3 years.
2. Treatment with testosterone and/or GH was associated with increases in lean mass and bone mineral density, and decreases in fat mass and trunk fat in both men and women.
3. Quality of life measures also improved across treatment groups. Treatments were generally well tolerated with few adverse effects reported.
