In preparation for this essay, read through the 2015 AAMFT Code of Ethics for the subject of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Next, consider the following scenario. In your personal life, you are in a committed relationship, yet you find yourself noticing that your client is quite attractive and repeatedly having intimate thoughts about this particular client. To date you have been successful at pushing it away from your mind when you have the thought. Based on this scenario, write a 2-3 page essay that addresses each of the following:
1. What does the 2015 AAMFT Code of Ethics include that is relevant to this scenario?
2. What does the recent MFT literature say about ethics in situations like this?
3. What is your personal philosophy of ethics in general?
4. How would you handle this situation? Be sure to think clinically here and list a specific plan.
Please remember the following when addressing the areas above. Failure to fully address any one of these areas will result in the resubmission of this essay.
1. Proper APA format for citations; proper spelling & grammar
2. Use specific sections of the 2015 Code of Ethics and cite them correctly

In preparation for this essay, read through the 2015 AAMFT Code of.docxjaggernaoma
One day your client discloses to you that s/he thinks about you a lot outside of sessions and wonders if the two of you may be able to start seeing each other socially.

PREAMBLE
The Board of Directors of the American
Association for Marriage and Family
Therapy (AAMFT) hereby promulgates,
pursuant to Article 2, Section 2.01.3 of
the Association's Bylaws, the Revised
AAMFT Code of Ethics, effective
January 1, 2015.
Honoring Public Trust
The AAMFT strives to honor the public
trust in marriage and family therapists
by setting standards for ethical practice
as described in this Code. The ethical
standards define professional
expectations and are enforced by the
AAMFT Ethics Committee.
Commitment to Service, Advocacy
and Public Participation
Marriage and family therapists are
defined by an enduring dedication to
professional and ethical excellence, as
well as the commitment to service,
advocacy, and public participation. The
areas of service, advocacy, and public
participation are recognized as
responsibilities to the profession equal
in importance to all other aspects.
Marriage and family therapists embody
these aspirations by participating in
activities that contribute to a better
community and society, including
devoting a portion of their professional
activity to services for which there is
little or no financial return. Additionally,
marriage and family therapists are
concerned with developing laws and
regulations pertaining to marriage and
family therapy that serve the public.

THE SACRIFICE HOW PRO-PALESTINE PROTESTS STUDENTS ARE SACRIFICING TO CHANGE T...indexPub
The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.
How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17Celine George
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.

Involved with Practicing
Over State Lines?
Licensing boards for your
profession or different professional
boards for supervisees from other
professions may assert jurisdiction.
• The board in your state(s) of
licensure.
• The licensing board in the
patient’s or client’s location at
time of contact.
• Boards in both geographic
areas.
16. Typically, healthcare providers must be licensed in the state where
the client or patient is located at the time of the telehealth
interaction.
• Patient centered care – care follows the client or patient
• PSYPACT facilitates the ability for providers to practice in multiple
states. However, several responsibilities remain for the individual
practitioner to navigate.

60. Questions for Your Liability or
Malpractice Carrier about
Practicing Across State Lines
1. Will you cover me for practicing over state
lines?
2. What if I am not licensed in the foreign state or
country, will you still cover me?
3. If you do cover me, will I be covered for
regulatory or civil actions?
4. What are the limits of each of those types of
coverage?
5. What if I do something illegal to meet the
requirements of my online employer, will you
cover me?
65. Multicultural Sensitivity &
Diversity Issues Across
State Lines
• Essential aspect of telehealth
• Screening procedures must be well developed
• Referral options must be responsibly offered
• Knowing how to sensitively handle emergencies,
including at first visit, process must be error-proof
• Complaints involving cultural bias are some of the most
frequently reported by boards.
66. Cultural Sensitivity or
Training for Practicing
Over State Lines &
Internationally
Telehealth poses unique challenges to
respecting diversity:
• People can often present only from “neck
up” (when needed, ask people to back
away from screen so you can see them
more fully). Also ask for a “tour” of their
location if appropriate.
• Many speak a different form of English
• If “impossible,” telehealth & diversity
training is warranted.
67. Disparities
Telehealth providers must educate
themselves about telehealth and
disparities, especially in rural
areas.
• Digital Literacy
• Local idioms
• Local religious & political beliefs
