JEM resin is used to make straight cable joints for low voltage cables with copper and aluminum conductors ranging from 1.5mm2 to 300mm2. The resin has a low viscosity, is moisture insensitive, and adheres well to cable materials. It is mixed in clear sachets and cured underwater if needed. Cable joint kits include transparent shells, mechanical connectors requiring no special tools, and armor bonds. They are tested and approved for joining low voltage SWA cables per various standards.
