Neilston Community Windfarm
Neilston is a former mill town that is now a commuter community outside Glasgow with pockets of disadvantage. The Neilston Development Trust aims to make Neilston a better place to live through physical improvements, cultural/social growth, and sustainable development. 2011 Delta Township Accomplishments
In 2011, Delta Township finalized the Michigan Avenue Extension project, completed pathway extensions, and rebuilt two lift stations. The township also survived the M-43 reconstruction project, continued the wireless meter reading project, received several grants, switched to fiber internet, and initiated updates to several plans. New programs were added and there was a change in leadership for the fire department and township clerk. Several development projects were also underway.

They directly led the team that acquired land, obtained civic approval, and negotiated a partnership agreement for the Cambie Street Claim Centre, one of the first P3 projects in British Columbia. 2011 Delta Township Accomplishments
In 2011, Delta Township finalized the Michigan Avenue Extension project, completed pathway extensions, and rebuilt two lift stations. The township also survived the M-43 reconstruction project, continued the wireless meter reading project, received several grants, switched to fiber internet, and initiated updates to several plans. New programs were added and there was a change in leadership for the fire department and township clerk. Several development projects were also underway.
