This document proposes two ideas to help recent graduates transition from studies to work:
A) A state program called "Initial Work" that employs graduates for 1-2 years doing exploratory work, diagnostics, and reports to gain experience. Graduates receive benefits like income, tax breaks, and housing. The state benefits from fresh ideas and committed professionals.
B) A university program adding "Soft Skills" courses like public speaking, empathy, and design thinking over four semesters. These skills are not generally developed in universities but are needed in today's job market. Courses would be qualitatively evaluated but not extracurricular.
