Isaac married Rebekah, with whom he had twin sons - Esau and Jacob. Ill feelings developed between the brothers when they grew into manhood, as Esau disliked Jacob being favored by their father and God. This caused Esau to threaten to kill Jacob, forcing Jacob to flee the country in fear for his life. Isaac later fell ill and died at the age of 180, buried by his sons Esau and Jacob with his father Abraham in a cave Abraham had purchased.
