ABROAD

Student organization
First of all, it is essential to create a student
organization that will be responsible for
finding ways to promote SBMT abroad by
searching for the opportunities of
participation in international competitions
and conferences in business, economics,
management etc.
Education exhibitions
Participation in education exhibitions
abroad will ensure that SBMT is
known by foreigners.
Coursera
Having courses on Coursera will
help people all over the world to
grasp the idea of the quality of
education given in SBMT.
E-library
All decent universities have own library or
at least e-library. SBMT needs to develop
an e-library that should include best
American and British textbooks,
newspapers and magazines. Moreover, it
is reasonable to translate best Belarussian
authors into English, so that foreign
student won’t sit without resources whilst
writing reports.
Magazine
SBMT should start publishing its own
magazine in two languages containing
latest news, information about the school
and interviews with administration,
students and alumni. Obviously,
electronic version is needed.
Alumni coordinators
Several students should become
responsible for communicating
with alumni, encouraging them
to take part in SBMT’s events,
promotion etc.
Grants
SBMT should give foreign students an
opportunity to win grants for education.
Dormitories
One of the important points – development of a section on
the SBMT website dedicated to dormitories. It will be
reasonable to include information about accommodation in
the dormitories, location and transport with attached map,
photos from dorms’ events.
Compadres
It may become difficult for foreign students to
adapt. So it is advisable that some SBMT
students become coordinators (compadres) for
foreign newcomers to help them understand the
process and ground rules of studying in SBMT.
Both formal and informal meetings can be
arranged for foreigners and their compadres.
