This document summarizes a project report for material inward inspection at WHIN (Water Health India). The objectives of the project were to identify and classify high priority materials procured by WHIN, develop quality processes for important items, generate a vendor rating system, and recommend an organizational structure. Data was collected on item costs, failure rates, and defects. Items were then categorized and prioritized based on value, failure frequency, and inspection results. Key items identified included pumps, filters, and pipes. The project aims to improve quality, streamline procurement processes, and lower maintenance costs by implementing quality inspection of incoming materials.
