Realise is an interactive, web-based tool designed to guide the translation of scientific discoveries in regenerative medicine into usable technologies and therapies. It provides in-depth analyses of value systems and business models, as well as an economic impact model. Realise aims to improve awareness of the development process, increase commercial success of new discoveries, and enhance therapy development. The tool shows parallel streams of activity across discovery, development and delivery, and identifies major work streams and individual action steps at each stage. It also modifies technology readiness guidance to highlight critical decision points. Realise was funded by the Scottish Government and Technology Strategy Board to help accelerate regenerative medicine development.
