- Welcome everyone to our very special webinar titled: (click mouse) Introducing Project Madeira. My name is Michael Intravartolo and I am the Accounts and Marketing Manager at Solution Systems, Inc. Today, I am very excited to introduce to everyone a business management software that is truly geared toward small businesses.
- This is a slide I took directly from Microsoft because I really felt it described the vision Microsoft has for small businesses. On Feb. 4, 2014, Satya Nadella was appointed as CEO of Microsoft. A few months after stepping into his new role (on July 10 2016), Satya made it very clear that in order to “Empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more”, Microsoft needed to “ReInvent” productivity & business processes. Small businesses represent a sizable part of the workforce, so ReInventing productivity in the small business space quickly became a priority. Click Next As Microsoft’s Cloud for Business space continues to grow because of wonderful people like you who are on this webinar, it seems only fitting that Microsoft would have a completely cloud based business management software.
- This is truly a special opportunity for small businesses that have between 1 and 99 employees. Project Madeira is going to provide you with the opportunity to extend all of that hard work you’ve invested in your small business, by helping you take that next step by enabling your organization to connect business processes with familiar Office 365 productivity tools. This will help you to grow sales, manage finances, and streamline operations.
- So let’s talk about Project Madeira and how you sign up for your free trial. First you start by visiting the link that you see on the bottom of your screen, https://madeira.microsoft.com/ This will then bring you to a page that looks just like what you are seeing on your screen and all you have to do is click Try the Preview
- Once you click Try the Preview you will be asked to enter your email address
- Go ahead and enter your email address but this must be a work email address as @yahoo.com or @gmail.com and other personal accounts will not work.
- Project Madeira will then send you a confirmation email with a link that you must click to verify your email address.
- And here’s what the verification email will look like.
- Once you click “yes that’s me” on the verification email you will be directed to this Project Madeira page where it will ask you for your name and a password you’d like to use to log in.
- After you enter your name and password Project Madeira will then begin to setup your preview. This usually takes a couple minutes and then you are ready to try it out.
