Coal Quality Analysis
• Exploration activities were started in October
1999 covering 68,360 Ha. During 2008-2012, the
exploration was further undertaken to gain more
data in regards to the field conditions.
• The areas covered during the exploration were:
 Bekoso Block – 1,500 Ha
 Lempesu Block – 2,580 Ha
 Liburdinding Block – 2,028 Ha
• The proximate analysis of coal samples showed
that the area contains high grade quality coal.
• Based on drilling results, the non-JORC reserve is
42 million tons, with average stripping ratio of
7.0x within 1,381 Ha area.
