Kevin Roberts, Executive Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi

3. Born and raised in Lancaster, Kevin
Roberts is the New York-based Executive
Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi. Amidst
a lifetime of achievements, he was
appointed a Companion of the New
Zealand Order of Merit for services to
business and community in 2013. He has
a home in Grasmere.
Our host this evening is TV journalist and
presenter, Kim Inglis. She is a patron of the
North East charity, Fighting All Cancers
Together (FACT) and NSPCC in Cumbria.
Based in Penrith, Eden Rural Foyer is
part of Impact Housing Association. They
provide supported-living, training and an
on-site cyber-cafe to young people, some
of whom are leaving the care system.

Four Groves Community Association
Time to Change West Cumbria
Four Groves was set up in August 2000 by six Barrow residents who wanted to see
their local council estate cleaned up. They now have a corner shop and training hub.
The social enterprise runs Calderwood
House in Egremont to tackle
homelessness. They provide 24 hour
emergency accommodation and training,
prioritising British service personnel.
One of the members of Blue Slate, Tom
Burrows, was awarded £1,500 through
Cumbria Community Foundation
to attend the Junior Royal Northern
College of Music in Manchester.
