burglary report. Enroute dispatched advised that the homeowner, Susan Cwanila,
had called 911 to report a burglary to her residence. I arrived on scene and contacted
Susan and her boyfriend, Wayne Briggs, who also lives at the address. Susan
stated that they both left the residence this morning around 0800 hours and when
they returned home they noticed that someone had forced entry to their residence.

panel window, however, only the first window was broken and no signs of access

Not only is technology hindering our use of communication and our school systems,
but has anyone ever sat down to study the toll that this much screen time could be
taking on our minds and brains? I remember as kid my mom would limit my TV
time to an hour and a half a day in fear that my brain would turn into mush. Now,
with an average screen time of at least six or seven hours, it s no wonder why I am
always complaining about my eyes hurting or how tired I am, but alas, it is
impossible to escape technology. While not having to step out of one s house to
do simple things like shop, check out books, and play games is great, in the end,
with every new version of the iPhone to come out, we, as people, have only
become more reliant on technology and frankly less knowledgeable. Something
needs to be done to change this. Should we just sit back and let the next generation
of kids be as lazy and dependent on these compact devices as we are? No, something
needs to be done to assure that our world will be safe in the hands of the future
