In October, Task 1 was completed which involved creating flash tools that would be used later. In November, Task 2 involving creating a production schedule in Microsoft Excel was completed or in progress. Task 3 was also completed which included creating 10 2D characters with images and descriptions presented in a PowerPoint. For Task 4, ideas and a mood board were developed but the creator felt they could have done a more creative job. Issues arose in Task 4 like not drawing the character in a way that allowed animation in parts. Photoshop also caused pixelation that was resolved using the 'Break Apart' tool. Progressing Task 4 and task 5
Character has been decided etc… presentation to be presented on Friday…
Progressing and improving by using sketches etc…. Ideas were last minute, one thing I’m not good at is
creating ideas I feel I need a little bit of an open idea to create my own for example a little more support
from teachers so I can create develop and understand what the task is and create a character and story.

Character drawn on illustrator and edited on Photoshop both illustrations are ready –
However I made a huge mistake as I drew him picture I did not do it in parts therefore I am unable to animate my character
(Not able to move arms etc.). Another problem was I learned that Photoshop creates Raster images and therefore on flash
after importing the image processes pixelated. I resolved this issue using the Break apart option this tool allows me to colour
in my character without there being pixelated corners also this made my image look better and as though it was Hand drawn
and painted in.

Working on Flash to create an animation or even an interactive presentation, I used the help from the Flash tools exercise we did
before. Buttons etc. were the most difficult. File is saved. I encountered many problems during this part of
task however resolved them by using past work I had done with tutorials. However from learning from my
mistakes the next time I do a task like this or use flash illustrator etc. I will use graphics and be more careful
and think about what I’m doing, I admit I have rushed through this due to late and absence however and
also my idea may be weak however from completing this assignment I have learned a lot and developed
skills in new software.
