8:00-4:00 I sat in and observed Mrs. Murphy’s
Lake Windward various adaptive art classes on the
Elementary School elementary level and was hands on in
adaptive art classes helping the students.

Commentary:
Here I observed all the different
projects and saw how the children used
their motor skills to conduct the
projects, and what all they could and
couldn’t do. And I learned how to
conduct a class based on their ability
and also what to do to calm the children
down.

During Thanksgiving break on Tuesday
November 22, 2011 I went to Alpharetta High School to
8:00-3:00 7 hours observe Mrs. Murphy’s high school
adaptive art classes. And sat in on to
have a thanksgiving lunch with the
students.
Commentary:
Here I learned how different the high
school students were compared to the
elementary. I got to interact with the
students more, and Here I got a concept
of what projects the students at my
school could do and be in the art show.

Commentary:
It was great to have her come and see
what all she had taught me, and how it
had been put to good use.
